An episode in our YouTube Web Series
When we arrived, there were around 30-50 people there witnessing the special moment.
After the eggs had hatched, the baby turtles were taken to the beach, near to the ocean waves, for the children and all of the people present to see them make their way to the water and get swept away by the current.
It was truly an awesome thing to experience.
A Special Thanks to Hawai'i Wildlife Fund for making this all possible!
Unfortunately, there was a HUGE dark cloud that went right in front of the sunset at the time they released the babies. We had to bump the ISO of the camera so high that we started to get a lot of noise in the footage. We did what we could to save the footage so you can experience it as well.
The video was shot on a Canon 5DmII with the ISO peaking at 4000 o.O
I think the footage came out pretty decent for ISO4000.
