An epiem portrait photography session

Abel "Sky Money" Fitwi has become a great friend over our time working together. Close like family. It's always a pleasure to work with this man.

He called me up a few weeks back to see how we were doing in Hawai'i. I told him we would be back to Seattle for a while on business and we should catch up.

Along with the suggestion, he had a great idea, he wanted to do an "in-studio" portrait shoot.

An epiem holiday photography portrait

Unie needed a Christmas gift for her parents this year. She had mentioned she hasn't sent them current photos of herself in ages.

We decided to do a quick portrait session and send her parents some nice, shiny, new photos!

We [very] recently moved to a new place, so we haven't had time to really venture out or even unpack, but wanted to still have a nice end result portrait. Excuse the mess!

This is my sister's second son, Roman.
This photo was taken almost a two years ago now.

It was taken with a Nikon D300s and a Nikkor 50mm 1.4.

We were on a business trip in Maui, Hawai'i back in 2010 and my sister happened to live there.

An epiem wedding photography engagement session

One of the regulars from a bar I used to work at hit up Unie about doing some wedding engagement photos for him and his soon to be wife.

After planning the day around the best weather, we meet up in International District near downtown Seattle one late afternoon, around 4pm.

We all jumped in my car and headed up to the University of Washington Campus because the Sakura (cherry blossom) trees were out and abundant.

For about an hour, we moved around the campus snapping pics.
