7 Reasons Why You Will Regret NOT Hiring a Wedding Videographer

epiem blog photo 7 Reasons Why You Will Regret Not Hiring a Wedding Videographer

Originally, this epiem blog article was titled:
7 Reasons Why You Should Hire a Wedding Videographer

Then I thought about it for a minute and realized that offering an opinion, shrouded in the word "Should", just doesn't quite do the title of such an important article, justice. "Regret" is really such a stronger word…

The reason I write this is because of all of the brides I have ever talked to in my life, there are TWO things most had in common and wished they did or changed for their wedding:
1 - Paid more and/or hired a more experienced/better photographer
2 - Invested in PROFESSIONAL Wedding Videography

They regret not making better choices.

Which brings me back to my original statement:
7 Reasons Why You Will Regret NOT Hiring a Wedding Videographer
(paying more for experienced/better photographer/videographer is for another article)

Coverage of the 2013 Hot Import Nights Seattle Car Show.
Saturday, July 27th, 2013.

Cars, models, and cash prizes!

HIN was a blast to film. Everyone was so nice and excited to be there.
Lots of OG Car show peeps, gorgeous models such as Jeri Lee, Dannie Riel, Nikita Esco, Brit Bliss, Amanda Jade, Elise Detris, Elisabeth Yang, Kimberly Ann, Vanessa Rose, Madison Tao, DJ Glo, IHeartModels GoGos, many first timers and even some families with little kids in strollers :)

It's been a while since we have been to a car show, so it was a refreshing change to the normal pace of our commercial filming. We were able to get really creative with slider shots, especially.

Get Organized: Time Management with Task Coach

How to manage your time with a simple Open Source program called Task Coach

epiem blog Get Organized: Time Management with Task Coach

I love open source, I love sharing information and I love the freedom of the internet. With that said, I also love time management; without it, I would be lost. Task Coach helps make time management possible manageable.

I grew up with a terrible idea of time management. I did poorly with homework and deadlines. I was always late to, well, everything. I could never stay on track. I was borderline ADD because of my poor time management (or vice versa; but let's not get into that).

The day consisted of summer camp activities, a massive beer garden, multitude of food trucks, live musical performances and headlined with an official Guinness World Record attempt for the world's largest water balloon fight.

Organized by Neil Bergquist and his team of awesome volunteers and presented by Talking Rain!

Had the pleasure of recently photographing one of the many teams of Merrill Lynch, thanks to the awesome referral from Nikk Wong. He was swamped and asked if I could cover. Check out his work.

Arrived just a bit before 2:30 on a warm Friday afternoon in a Bellevue high rise Merrill Lynch office.

We brought 3x 4500watt Continuous Light Softboxes (two large 6 lamp, one small 1 lamp), 2x 5DmII, 16-35mm 2.8 mII, 70-200mm 2.8 mII, popup Botero Blue/Green Screen (with a white backdrop wrap), an extension cord (NEVER forget your extension cord), 2x power strip & a bottle of water (that I "conveniently" left in the car...terrible move).
